And that's really why it has been viewed in such a negative way. Mistakes DO happen, but to say that the cartoonist, the editor, and who ever else may have had to sign off on this before it was printed just "messed up" or "didn't know" I a pretty lame excuse.

As an update, it seems Al Sharpton wants to get the government involved. As much as the cartoon is stupid and disgusting, I am probably going to sound like a hypocrite and say that the government should be left out of this all together.
