Hi, the same problem happened to a lot of people.

All you need to do is go into your PM and check the box for all of our inbox which you can see here:



Then just scroll to the bottom and click the "Selected Messages:" button where it says "Move to folder..." and select the "Mark as read" option and click go:



That will fix it! Lmk if you have any issues
