This suggestion is probably more for future ranked seasons but how about having 3 main mods like abd, lenshu, tk or erthtkv2 and then having a 4th bonus mod that can be changed every week or 2 that will be picked from a public list so everyone knows what the mod could be. This list could have mods like greykido, rb_greykido, boxshu_mushu and etc. A bit like how cl used to be.
