evilperson knows exactly what I am talking about

the organic locally grown produce you can find in the UK absolutely shits on all of the processed mega-crap you can find in all of the fast food places across the entire planet, and if you're in the country again I urge you to stay in the countryside instead of in the city. look at air bnb for accommodation, you can find some real gems in the lake district for example my partner and I stayed in a cottage near lake Windemere literally across the road from where Beatrix Potter (a famous children's author who wrote the Peter rabbit series of books) lived. Her home is preserved and turned into a museum of sorts that you can visit and there's a lovely quaint little countryside pub right across from it that serves incredible food and drinks

Having said that, the fast food in the UK would probably be marginally better for you to consume compared with American stuff as we have better regulations about what kind of chemicals are allowed to be put inside processed foods.
