This comment was framed as deliberate gaslighting and misgendering which is utterly ridiculous given the context. It was basically nothing more than a made up excuse that did not happen.

From my point of view the reality is that Fire commented something that he didn't think would result in anything bad, understandably so. Maya took it and twisted it into something that Fire could be warned for then forwarded it to sir who happily obliged.
