Displaying posts implies having more or less full support for bbcode, some system to auto convert any embedded images into TGAs that game client can display, etc.

Again none of it is impossible but it also doesn’t really feel like a crucial feature that a lot of players who don’t already use forums normally would benefit from, and the more you dumb it down the less useful it sounds.

Imo features like proper clan management would be way nicer to have accessible from game client than the ability to view forum posts.
