I would argue the deleted comment is additional context beyond the exact post that Fire was banned for.
I could see it being possible you feel that you're sure thats NOT how it was intended to be read.
I also think anyone being sure of someone else's intention in a statement is a wreckless position for a moderator.
I can admit I wasn't present and I dont personally know the involved parties enough to have a perfect perspective on the context, however, I can concieve of a world where a moderator and a complaintant might have a relationship that is swaying a decision or perspective on remarks made.
What I posit is that I don't see that being fair or consistent moderation.
