In light of the existence of distance.lua and /opt debug 1 we have decided to amend this now-redundant rule on Farthest Distance Traveled in 500 Frames, we believe it serves only to make the record more tedious than it has to be:

We've also decided to implement this rule because in theory there's nothing stopping you from just throwing your hand and technically covering the distance before the replay ends, as well as shedding a ton of weight from your Tori. These are both methods of play that go against what the record is supposed to be and this rule puts the record more in line with other Distance Records
Under this new ruleset most currently submitted replays are record-legal. Traditionally we do not accept -30 records and we stick to classic gamerules, however the strategies used in this record are meaningfully different from Farthest Distance Traveled in 500 Frames to warrant a new entry. More -30 records could happen provided the strategies are also different
Since I'm a contender for the record, I shouldn't check for replay legitimacy, Szaszuniya can handle that
