[WIP] Forum Enhancement Browser Extension
I'm working on a browser extension that modernises the forum and adds QOL features. Updating this thread as I work on it
Extension will be public, free, open source, and won't require login details
Feel free to request features below, but some things won't be possible / plausible
Everything is optional, but here's what it can do so far:- Update the Inventory pages (Activated and Deactivated) to use the modern, dark forum theme
- Update the Shop pages to use the modern, dark forum theme
- Update the Transfer Toricredits page to use the modern, dark forum theme
- Show detailed info about posters (TC, user ID)
- Add navbar (the top bar - Forum, Store, Market, etc.) to all pages that don't have it
- Add breadcrumb bar (the bar below the navbar - Toribash Community, Search, etc.) to all pages that don't have it
- Show user ID on profile
- Cache elements (as well as fonts and such) to prevent slow loading / FOUC
- Hide legacy navbar on all pages that still use it
- Hide links to deleted pages, such as Shared Banks
- Hide styling inconsistencies, such as legacy button and input styles
- Hide some redundant elements
- Hide header splash art
- Hide footer
- Hide signatures
- Hide avatars
- Search for usernames and clan names from any page
- Block users, hiding their posts until you choose to see them
- Desktop notifications when someone replies to you, you receive a PM, someone mentions your name, certain users post, or there's a new thread in a subscribed forum
- Desktop notifications when you can next bump your thread
- Cache posts as drafts while you're writing them, auto-recovering when you go to post again
- Filter posts by tag - e.g. remove all "Solved" threads from your view of Technical Support
- Add tags (usernotes) to users, which show up whenever they post (such as "Scammer", "Friend", or noting down their previous username)
- Watchlist items, providing a desktop notification when one goes up for sale, or when its price is reduced
- When someone mentions a user "like @Surge", it's converted to a link to their profile
- Improved post-writing features, such as a button to add a spoiler, non-TB emoji support, auto-conversion of Markdown to BBCode
- Custom forum themes
