non tb related but very happy about this TF2 piece I made for a client, been a while since I got asked to make a TF2 piece, even just a 2D piece (non-texture work) since AI killed that market for me


For those that may now know, years ago I used to enjoy and really see a lot of clientele from making DnD portraits I'd advertise on DnD circles and reddit and the like. Amazing pieces even by my own standards today, like this one:


ofc early adopters are always nerds and nerds play DnD so you can imagine it ravaged my clientele since obviously they didn't have to wait upwards of three weeks to get their character portraits done or pay up for it, they could just generate it for free even if it was supbar work especially at the time when AI was coming up in a more user accessible way

just thought I'd share this because it really made me very happy to make a wallpaper piece or just a non-tb or non-3D related artpiece and to drop some ale lore since some people really don't know much about me
