I think its about time we had some form of update here on the urban forum. I'm not sure of what to do exactly and i would appreciate your input.

Some of the ideas I have had for stickies are-

Suggestions - I'll remake this thread but make it open to all topics.

Urban News - For announcements (Comps, Wars, new players, videos, etc)

Urban Challenges - Similar to the replay thread however the first post will be updates with challenges. Say every couple of days with a variety of different themes.

I'm also having some rather radical ideas. Now bear with me here as its a bit over the top and it mite take a little back and forth to totally understand what I'm on about.

The simplest way I can put it is to break it up.

1. We move all current members to the Urban Secrets sub forum and rename it to something like [Urban Elite].

2. After this is done we could open Urban to any belt with no entry requirements...

3. These new members would affectionately be called 'SubUrbs' and would live in the normal Urban forum under the tutelage of the Urban Elite.

4. Those who show exceptional ability and pass the vote would be able to move up to the Urban Elite.

I think that sets up the basics. We have many talented players in Urban and I think we should share that with new players. We could host SP and MP comps, train um up and pit them against other clans, loads of stuff. I am confident in all of your abilities and i recon all Elites could do these things with ease. Influence doesn't have to be direct, you wont be obligated to give in depth constructive criticism to all members(unless you want to), just being exposed to experienced players should help in theory.

Aside from all that stuff (which would be awesome) forum activity would obviously increase. Also as many of you may have noticed new members in [Urban] have tended to find it difficult to integrate and really feel at home here. This is mainly due to our relaxed attitude towards the forum. I think in this new system we would expect SubUrbs to come and go and anyone being considered into the 'Elite' would, again in theory, already feel as though [Urban] is their home.
