I was in a salt mine as well. :U (Dürrnberg, if it rings any bells)
It was pretty cool, but also weird, because there was a small lake in there. Inside a mountain. I also had to duck half the time, due to my height and the tunnels' lack of such.
Also, moar glacier talk coming up!...
Inside that glacier, everything apart from the handrails was made of ice. Walls, floor, ceiling... All of it. It was also pretty awesome that there were two different types of ice: opaque and transparent. Seeing a diagonal stripe of transparent ice on an otherwise opaque ice wall is totally awesome. Words doesn't really do that place justice. I can only recommend it. But mind you, it was cold in there, i had to put on gloves. Here's the website, which contains a couple of images...
