At any rate - it's just avoiding the answer. Supposedly god created all things - beautiful and ugly. Why he would have a bias to some colors/shapes i don't know.

I suppose our beauty standards are results of our brain structure and prior knowledge.
We like contrast because we like order (we have to like it to build societies and survive) but of course something doesn't have to have contrast to be considered beautiful.
