One important thing everyone should remember: When attempting a wrist jump, you should have your elbow extended. Both as you are setting it up, and executing it. This prevents your elbow from bending and absorbing the the energy of your extending wrists, which would decrease the power of the jump.
When you're actually jumping, yeah, but not necessarily when you're setting it up....If you need to go
really fast you may relax elbow to store more potential energy.
