My internet was gone for 2 days.

There was loads of thunder and we didn't shut anything off. From nowhere, the whole house started to shake a bit like a small earth quake and there was a flash from my mothers computer. We were like 'what the hell was that'. The computer did not work after that. After a few minutes there was a strange smell in our house so we started to go around and try to find out what it was. It smelt like something was burning so I taught something caught fire from the thunder. I then saw that there was coming smoke from the router and it didn't work at all.

Lucky we got a good internet provider. They sent us a new router right away and we got it 2 days later (now).
