The nuclear power plants subject, they are very useful and they can produce much more energie than the solar receptors in Sahara.
There are only two riscs about them, the residues they produce that are higly toxic, and the major risc (as cloren said) of beying attacked for some reason or explode for some reason.
We have the example of Chernobyl, for that.

I think the EU should think more about green solutions, but our countries seem to dont care about it, for e.g:

Portugal is the country in the EU that has more solar hours, it is expose to sun more hours, but our government dont want to "waste money" on solar plants because its too expensive.
As instead, they really waste money on puplic works such as the TGV line that will cost more than 500 million € and will beneffit more Spain than Portugal.
That was just an example, there are many more and in every country.
