I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you transferred an old hdd to a new pc and some of the files got corrupt. On the other hand, try turning your settings to absolute minimum. After that I would suggest reinstalling and possibly deleting your .bik files so it skips movie scenes (which may be the problem). If that fails try downloading it via torrent and running it off an emulated disc (not a problem if its only campaign thats giving you problems you can just stick in the real disc for mp).
