The most likely cause is the invite. Usually it's because the invites aren't accepted or not set to the correct room. Hopefully it'll be updated so there is actually some way of telling that the invite has been accepted. Until then you'll just have to be careful with the invites.

When you asked me to update your clan's points, that only does the stats points. Battle points are separate from that.
