We're looking for the most skilled warriors out there, in many different fighting styles, so if you have a multiplayer replay that you think looks great, and is better than the rest then submit it here, It's all about how good the replay looks. There is a category for each mod, so make sure you follow the format.
In here, we have a few rules you need to follow, imma make them as clear as i can coz if you dont follow them, we'll be hauling your ass outta the competition quicker than you can say "sorry Erth".
Here they are:
1) No editting replays. Each replay will be checked and checked again for legitimacy.
2) No arranging fights, for a start natural fights will look a lot cooler due to the whole heat of the moment thing.
3) You must win the match. If you lose, you're dead. If you're dead, who would i send the prizes to? You lose, you cant submit the replay.
4) You must not mess with the mod settings. There is a mod list for a reason, stick to it, if you dont. You guessed it... You're out!
5) There is a format for posting an entry:-
Mod|date|your name|opponent name|Do you agree to the rules?|

what about the lenght of the fight ? is it better if I pwn him fast and clean or a long hard fight won with efforts ? (like in wushu/brushu would you prefer a fight with a lot of comebacks and a tight win or a brutal straight decap ?)
same question for aikido : quick humiliation or awesome save against a good player ?
I haz plenty to show but I don't know which one to choose D:
Right then, lets get to this;
I purposely didn't put a criteria so that i would get a variety of replays. All of the things that you listed will be counted, I personally will be mainly looking for the skill involved and overall style.
However, every judge will be looking at it from completely different perspectives, some with less ingame experience than others, those will look for overall appeal, while others will look more in depth into the blocks and dms etc.
As for the fast or long question, really it's up to you 'm afraid. As a general rule i'd say short fights wont let us see how skilled you really are, they'll essentially limit the time where we can see what you can do.
Hope that helps deppy :]
DM comes from "tear your opponent to pieces" it seems like in your interpretation, but would it not be written "tear your opponent into pieces" then? Pieces must not mean dismember or such, it could simply be to tear a hole in your opponents confidence or soul. Or simply a exaggeration.
If you continue reading then you will find that it is mainly skills and "awesomeness" that will decide a winner, and as such that is most likely what they will decide it to be, which may involve DMs.
For those thinking I'm backseat moderating this: I'm a proud defendant of my own and others case in this misconception that DM should be a requirement for this event, I may stand corrected, but if so, I hope misunderstanding from language wont occur in the future.
(Also, if that is not an argument chamara, but a question, add this little fella "?")
