I'd be interested to hear what people with authority and ability had to say about the idea, which I'm positive they've probably thought about to some degree.

I'm pretty positive he has enough authority to give out his idea. :P

Anyways, it would get terribly abusable imo, and would make entirely useless the idea of the modes. Aikido won't be aikido any more, same for sumo and all those. As said before, you can still mod for making tori and uke with the shape you want (even a cart).
