It helps my booms a little bit, that's all. I wouldn't of been able to get the booms like that without it. My theory may be incorrect, but if I hit the joints hard enough, they'll impact other joints with about the same amount of momentum used in the attack, DM'ing the joints. If more joints collide and break, the boom is bigger.
