I like how it's coming out. The nose still looks a bit off to me, and I think partly its the shading. Don't yell at me if you already know this but I think we all need a refresher from time to time...

Shading breaks out into:
  1. Highlight
  2. Light
  3. Shadow
  4. Core
  5. Reflected Light
  6. Cast Shadow

For cartooning, I only usually worry about 3 of these on top of my base color:
  1. Highlight
  2. Core
  3. Cast

So this is roughly how I would draw your nose to get a more round, less flattened effect...


As an exercise, I practice drawing that sphere a LOT . . . Then you start to see spheres everywhere, like the chin, the nose, the forehead, and it helps you model them better.
