I remember before 3.0, yeah you're right there were pages and pages full of praise. I'm talking about what the community's become.

Sure people can complain, you are absolutely right. Without people giving their thoughts on things a game will never evolve. But there doesn't need to be the massive amounts of posts of people bitching. And we don't need a hundred fucking threads saying the say damn thing. And it isn't just little "oh yeah I agree, this isn't ready for release yet" it's more like "omfg this sucks wtf i hate hampa now this whole game sucks now im never playing again you suck" and that is totally unnecessary. It's just getting rediculous, far beyond what's necessary.

And yes, I was one of the people that flamed the goons when they got here. I was a hell of a lot worse than most people actually. I got banned from IRC for it, too. But the goons finally got through to me and I understood.
