Prologue
This all started on my 20th Birthday. My uncle that adopted me died because of my cursed power. In my childhood, everyone labeled me as the Cursed Child, which make my life really tough. I only have one friend. His name is Robert McCarthy. When we met, he treated me just like a normal person. He didn't see anything weird about me. When my uncle died, he left me a letter, and when I read the letter, I didn’t know wether to react confused or happy. This was the message:
Dear Shella
I know these days, something will happen to me, so I wrote this letter when I first adopted you. I want to tell something that might shock you. Your father is still alive, but I don't know where he has gone to. If you want to meet your father, go to Laguna Village when you are 21, and search for a man named James McCarthy.
I hope you can find your father.

My father was alive? Where has he been all these 20 years! I was so happy and shocked about the news. I read through the letter a few times, and found the name James McCarthy very familiar. Suddenly, the door bell rang.
"Hey Ella, can I come in for a minute?" shouted Robert
“Ok, just a minute." I walked to the door and opened it, and found Robert gasping for his breath.
"Ella, I just found out that your father is still alive!" exclaimed Robert.
"How do you know?"
"Your uncle give me a letter. I see that you already know about it too." Robert saw the letter that Shella gripped.
"Yeah, he said if i want to know about my father, I must find a guy named James McCarthy. I know that I have heard that name before, but I just can’t remember who it is." Shella got lost in thought.
"Errmm.... Ella, what is my full name?" asked Robert.
"Why do you ask? Of course your name is Robert McCar.....Wait then James is related to you!" Shella realized and felt like an idiot for forgetting her friends name.
"James McCarthy is my father. I ran from my home when I was 12. Maybe today is the day that I'm coming home. Let’s find your father."
On that note, Robert ran back to his house, and left me shocked, staring at where at my front door.
Chapter 1
“Welcome to Laguna village," said my only friend. I forgot to tell you about him, so here I go. His name is Robert McCarthy, and he’s a pretty bit forward, but he is a skillful gunslinger. If anyone wants to hire a gunslinger, they will choose him. He is known around as the number one. He uses dual Phytons, with special bullets, element bullets. I teach him some of my martial arts knowledge, and it seems he can only master Aikido, Judo, and some other martial arts that maybe useful in gun battles. For some reason, he is also good at parkour.
As for the city, it looks um... normal. The city is like one that would appear in a western film, but a little bit more tidy, and has a good arrangement of building. There are some tall building at the 4 corners of city border, and the rest are about the size of houses. Robert told me that the tall buildings were Watchposts for observing Laguna's surrounding. Hey, don't look at me, maybe my understanding of “normal” is a bit different from yours.
"Well... welcome to my house. Mom, Dad I'm home!" Robert said, as he opened the door.
"Robert is that really you? Look at how much you have grown! Where have you been all these years?" asked his mother, "And who is this lovely lady, your girlfriend?"
"No" we both exclaimed, blushing a bit.
"She is my friend. Her name is Shella Wish. She wants to talk to my father."
"Sorry, but James is out today at work. He might come home tommorow." said Mom.
"Well, thank you. See you tomorrow! I'll search for a hotel to stay at." I said.
"Why don't you stay with us?" asked Robert.
"You keep forgetting that I always feel uneasy around family. It’s good for me to stay away." I said as I walked outside to find a hotel.
"Where will you stay? I'll contact you when I have some news." Shout Robert.
"I'll stay in Saint Bay Marine Hotel!"

"The room is Beautiful!" I exclaimed. The room top is high with a golden statue at the corner of room. In the room, there are 2 floors with an elevator that connects them, and an indoor pool and billiard.
"Although it's expensive, it’s completely worth it. Thank god my Uncle is wealthy. I better take a bath before I do anything else."

"Ella, open the door! I have some bad news!" shouted Robert from outside.
"Coming"
I opened up the door to Robert, and his jaw dropped. I guess I didn’t realize that all I was wearing was a towel.
"Oh my god, please put some clothes on before you come out." Robert said, looking at the ground.
"Oh I’m so sorry! I’ll be right back." I must have became as red as a tomato, because I felt so embarrassed. I picked out some clothes and put them on.
"Ok, so what’s the situation?" asked Ella.
"Are you familiar with the Shadow Wolves group?" asked Robert.
"Yeah, I heard that it’s the lowest ranked and the weakest group." said Ella, "Why?"
"Not anymore. Rumor has it that the Poisonous Dirty-J has joined them, and made them much stronger. All I’ve heard about him is that he is an expert of hiding and finding information, and skillfull with dual short swords."
"I have no clue who this Dirty-J is, but that doesn't matter. What is the problem?" I said impatiently.
"The watchpost guard said that he saw some Shadow Wolf members at 20km from the watchpost. The chances are high that they will attack the town at noon. And worse yet, I just heard that my father was given a job from the Mayor to spy on the Shadow wolves, and I am worried about him."
"Hmm.... maybe if we defeat the group, we can figure out where your father is. Get ready. I'll pick you up in exactly 30 minutes from now."
Robert walked away, although I was unsure where he was going, and I got ready for battle.
At Robert's Place
"Hmmm...... what bullets should I bring..." Robert got lost in his thoughts. "Maybe I'll bring my favorite bullets, Ice and Fire bullets. It's been a while since I shot, practice won’t hurt me though." He walked outside, and shot several targets, with incredible speed.
"No wonder they call me Demon Shooter" he said, admiring his work. "I really hope I don’t have to use my power. I am afraid of what might happen if I do."
At Shella's place
"It’s pretty bit unusual that I give him the idea to fight, and he agreed without hesitation..." I said, lost in my thoughts. "Well, maybe because it's for his father. I wonder what Robert is doing now..."
30 Minutes Later
"Get ready for battle, partner." said Robert. I was suprised, because thats what I say.
"For sure, we will annihilate the group" I said, and we took off.
Chapter 2
"Today we will show them our strength. Release your wrath to conquer Laguna village. And don't forget we have a hostage in our hands." Announced the so-called Poisonous Dirty-J to his comrades.
Dirty-J is a guy with brown robes and a red scarf that almost conceals his face.
"I have some information for you. The Demon Shooter came back to his hometown, but don't worry. He will use Ice and fire bullets. We just need Water and Earth armor, and we will be fine. He came back home with a girl, but I’m sure she isn’t a threat to us. Our boss will not tolerate any failure, so be sure to win this battle."
“Robert came back home?” said a weak voice from the edge of the group. It was a fairly old man with brown hair starting to gray, and a broken sword in his sheath.
"Yeah, he came back home yesterday, and he better be ready to get annihilated." Said a man from the group and who spit while he talked.
"Robert, please be safe." the old man wished from the bottom of his heart.

When the Shadow Wolves group appeared in the horizon, the situation got pretty tense around the Watchpost.
"How many do you think there, Robert?" I asked my gunslinging friend.
"It seems there are around 190-250 peoples out there." confirmed Robert.
"Seems like a lot for a weak group..." I sighed.
"Don't underestimate them. Don't forget that they have Dirty-J on their side." he scolded.
"Once again, I don't have any clue who this Dirty-J is." I sighed once more, "But, okay. If you say so. I'll try to build up my concentrate. I have a few tricks up my sleeve that I would love to try out."

Right before the battle started, I collected my inner power. It always makes me shout, but I think Robert wasn’t expecting it, because he afterwards he said, “What was that?”
The Shadow Wolves rushed towards us at full speed. But after about a minute, they suddenly stopped, as if they were frozen in time. Only 13 minutes later did the group seem to realize why they were stopping, and started to charge again. But when they started charging again, one girl was rampaging in the middle of the group.
What Robert and I saw was a girl that whirls like the wind. Disarm, punch, kick, using her opponent's attacks against them. I am guessing most people thought she was a Demon Fighter, but what I saw was an Angel of War. When robert saw the guards from the Watchpost, they looked just about as stunned as he did. "Guards, forward! Help her!" commanded Robert as he start reloading his Bullets.
Robert started to shoot some bullets, until he realized that thye didn’t effect the Shadow Wolves. It seems the fire and ice powers have been absorbed into their armor. I started approaching Robert.
"What happened, your bullet didn't affect them?" I questioned him.
"It seems they acknowledge my bullets type... but how?" He looked very confused. "I think it is coming from Dirty-J. He can be anywhere. Anyways, can I borrow your shadows?" he said as he grabbed an special bullet that can absorb any element.
"Is it really that urgent?" I asked.
"Yeah, I need it to fight them."
"Oh well, but only in small amounts. You know that I hate using that power." I said as I summoned a little shadow from my palm. The bullets started glowing as they absorbed the shadow.
"Thanks.” He put the bullets to some machinery, and the bullets started producing fast. He start shooting, and there was a faint shadow following his bullets in the air.

"Boss, it seems as though we are losing." reported one of Dirty-Js captains.
“How can this be? How he can get the shadow bullet? It is the rarest type of bullets". Dirty-J growled. "I must enter the battlefield."

When the Shadow wolves group started to lose, the army suddenly split into two. At the end of the line, Dirty-J was standing, prepared for battle.
"So, it's you that killed my comrades. You shall pay for your deeds. Be prepared to feel my wrath!" Dirty-J pointing right at me, and started dashing.
At the blink of an eye, Dirty-J was standing right in front of me, swinging his dagger. Luckily, I have always had good reflexes, so at the exact right moment, I was able to block the attacks. I got out my weapon, and started swinging it in circles. I began lunge at Dirty-J, and slash my lasso.
Dirty-J dodged my attacks at easy, and while Robert was distracted, he grabbed his arm and put his Dagger to Robert's throat.
"One wrong move, and your friend dies." Dirty-J announced.
"Its like an little treat for me, like a little wolves growl for her mother." I responded calmly. "Show him, Robert."
Robert started push his throat forward until he was touching the knife, threw back his head, and slammed Dirty-J on his nose. He stumbled backwards and lost his balance. Robert pulled Dirty-Js arm, and slammed him to the ground. Before Robert could shoot his bullets, Dirty-J rolled over to his right and stabbed his Knife into Robert's thigh.
“AAGH!” Robert screamed as he collapsed to the ground, holding his leg. He tried to pull out the dagger, but I could only imagine that it felt like he was cutting his own leg off. "ROBERT, ARE YOU OKAY?" I ran over to my falling comrade, but before I got to his side, Dirty-J kicked me right in the stomach, and pushed me backwards.
"HOW DARE YOU HURT MY ONLY FRIEND! NO YOU WILL SUFFER MY WRATH!" I started to summon a shadow, but I was out of control.
"Ella...no...stop...it..." Robert groaned.
Before I could do anything, I got engulfed in a shadow, and became what was called the Shadow Demon.
"Ah... it’s been such a long time since I’ve had a body." the Shadow Demon said. It was the weirdest and worst feeling ever. It was as if someone was hacking into my brain, so I could tell what was going on, but I had no control over myself. Recklessly, Dirty-J rushed forward and began to strike. That was a very bad mistake. As soon he was going to stab us, we disappeared from sight, and suddenly stabbed Dirty-J right through his back. He collapsed to the ground, as I (or whatever I was) laughed.
"What a weakling." the Shadow Demon mocked. She walked over to Dirty-J, and prepared to kill him, but suddenly, Robert stopped her by hugging me from behind. "Ella...stop...remember who you are..." Robert held me even her tighter.
I pushed him away, and turned his way. "I guess I'll finish you first, then." I started to choke Robert. I couldn’t believe that I was killing my only friend. I started to get really mad.
"Argh... I’m so sorry Ella. This is the only way." Robert grabbed 1 of the special bullets, and the bullet started absorbing the shadow.
I started screaming in agony. The pain was too much to take. The bullet started glowing brighter and brighter, as it absorbed my evil side.
A second before the explosion, I woke up fully, and Robert avoided our deaths by kicking me in the stomach at full strength.If I hadn’t tough him martial arts, he probably would have killed me with that kick. We both flew backwards as the bullet exploded, and the shock wave carried us even farther. That is all I remember until I woke up an hour later.
When it was all over, and I was safe from the Shadow demon, I said, "Urrgghh... what happened, all I remember was that I was mad when I saw you hurt." Then it all came back to me. "Robert, are you okay?" I ran to Roberts side, and found that he was lying down and trying to decrease his pain.
"Oh my god! His knife is poisonous! I’m sorry in advance for this." I started sucking on his thigh and spitting out the green blood. That had to be the most disgusting thing I have ever done. Not very far back from where we were, someone was regaining consciousness. "Urrgghh...what just happenned..."
After sucking out all the poison, I turned around to look at the waking man. “Jack, is that you?”
“You know Dirty-J?” asked Robert in disbelief.
"You know that I have 2 students, you and someone else. Jack is my other student." I explained. "That's why his martial arts are so familiar. On the last day of training, he just disappeared from his house and from his country."
"Ella? Why are you here?" said Jack, still waking up.
"You don’t remember anything?" I asked Jack.
"I just remembered that when I got back home from your dojo, someone kidnapped me, and everything after that is blank." explained Jack.
"It seems as though someone brainwashed you. We can figure this all out later, but for now, you have to help me to cure Robert. You stabbed him with your poison dagger, and I already sucked most of the poison out, but there we have been out for a while, so there must already be poison deeper in his bloodstream.
"Uh... okay, I have an antidote in my pocket." he was dazed as he walked over to Robert, and give him the antidote.
Robert felt much better in a matter of seconds, and then went back off to sleep.
"Jack, we need to talk."

"So, that's what happened," Jack felt guilty when Ella finished the story ,"I think I must apologize to you Robert, forgive me."
"No problem,at least my father will be saved," Robert stood up from his bed with his father. "Thank you for saving me Ella", says Robert's dad to Ella.
"No problem. May I ask you something? My uncle said that you know my father." said Ella
"Ah.. Junn Alexander Wish, he was a brave warrior I had ever known, maybe the bravest. What would you want to know?" asked James.
"Everything, like why he is gone and where he has gone to." Right now Ella's mind was crowded with questions.
"I think you are familiar with your power. You got that power not when you were born, but from a guy with black hood cursed you with that power.Your father felt guilty because he couldn't stop him when he cursed you. I don't know where he went to search for the black hooded guy," explained James.
"Hmmm..., then we have new goal; find the hooded guy.Maybe by doing that we can find your father,Ella. Sir,can you give us some details about him?," asked Jack.
"Wait a sec." James ran to his bedroom,and searched for something in his drawer. "Ah..here it is, thank goodness I'm good at drawing."
The three of us got closer and looked the drawing. The picture showed a humped guy with a black hood and showed a little golden hair. He looked like he was 30 years old. He was holding a staff. At the end of staff, was a skull with diamond eyes, and covered up with shadow."Is this picture accurate?" asked Jack.
"Yeah,I drew it after Junn told me about his appearance,if you want it, its yours." James said, giving the picture to them.
"Thanks dad,now we will go to the next town to search for some info about him," said Robert.
Before they went out, James' father said farewell ,"Robert,be safe,and don't forget you have a home here."
"I won't dad," said Robert.

Ella walked silently as she stared the guy in the picture.
"Do you recognize him?" asked Jack.
"Hmm...not really, but I do have a feeling that I have seen him somewhere," Ella sighed.
"Anyways, where are we going?" Ella asked Robert.
"We will go to Crystal forest town, there we will stop and restock our supply of food," explained Robert.
"Ah..I hope they serve good beer there," Jack dreamed.

At 3 o'clock in the evening, they had nearly arrived at Crystal Village town, but suddenly they saw a businessman getting violated by a cheapless rogue.
"Argh...Stop it, don't steal my stuff!" The businessman tried to protect his belongings.
"Hahahahahaha...give us all your money," an ugly laugh came from the rouge.
"I'll handle this guy," Jack volunteered.
"Hey you, stop right there." Jack unsheathed his dagger.
"Stop me if you can" the rogue challenged him.
"Ohohoho big mistake," said Ella to the rogue. "Jack show him."
For a split second, the rogue kissed the ground, "I don't think you know who am I because I forgot to wear my scarf, but, I think you would know Poisonous Dirty-J."
"Y-Y--You Dirty-J? Forgive me" Sputtered the rogue who then started to run away.
"He deserved it all right,are you okay sir?" Ella asked the businessman.
"Thank you for saving me ,would you care to stay at my house in Crystal forest city?" said the businessman.
"That is our destination," said Robert.
"Good, you can stay at my house. Here is my business card. My name is John," introduced the business man.

After that we continued the journey with John, "So...where are you from?" asked John.
"I am from Laguna Village, she is from The Isle Of Knightsridge, and he is from Hollowcrest city," said Robert.
"Ah Laguna Village what a nice city ,I've never heard of Hollowcrest."
"Don't worry, it has always been forgotten.They never put it on the map" said Jack calmly.

After they arrive at their destination...
"Welcome to my house, Jives we have visitor," said John.
Suddenly a classy bald guy came out from nowhere, "Anything I can help you with sir?"
"Jives, serve us some tea," commanded John.
"As you wish master," Jives walked away to the kitchen.

In the guest room...
"So you are on a journey searching for your father,and you've only got 1 slight clue," John mused.
"Yeah, are there any chances that you have seen this guy?" as Ella gave him the picture.
"Hmm...I don't think so," said John.
Suddenly, Jack started feeling uneasy, he whispered to Ella ,"May I excuse myself a little bit? I have strange feeling about this city."
"Hmm..okay. Come back after you finish," said Ella.
"Okay." Jack started covering his face with his scarf, and ran out of the house.
"Where is he going?" asked John.
"He has some business to take care of, where can I sleep John? I'm pretty beat," explained Ella.
"Jives show them to their room."
"Right here sir." Jives guided them to their rooms.

At half past 7 in the evening, someone knocked on Ella's room window.
Ella jumped, she thought it was a ghost, she started to regain her composure and opened the window.
Outside, there was a guy wearing a scarf and hood. "I have information," he said.
"Jack ,where have you been, and how did you climb to 2nd floor?" asked Ella. The person that was outside the window was Jack.
"Forget about the details.There are a bunch of rogues at least 15 km far,may I come in?" asked Jack.
"Sure," Ella said, opening the window for Jack to climb in.
"I already told Robert and he will come right......now." Someone knocked on the door and Jack open the door for him.
"I already heard the story from Jack" said Robert.
"Can you explain more?" asked Ella.
"Sure, there were about 1000 talented rogues, 500 Elemental Users and 250 martial artists. They said it was someone's order, but I can't find out who it is."
"Wait you talked with them?" interrupted Robert.
"Don't forget I am the best at hiding, even you will never know when I speak to you if I try to hide myself. Anyways, it will be hard to defeat them if it's only the three of us,we need this city's citizens."
"Can't you just scare them with your reputation?" asked Ella.
"It isn't that easy. They have pride and have their own reputation, not like that cheapless rogue earlier," explained Jack.
"We need to talk with John"

After they explained the situation to John, he went to Headcity's office. At 8 in the evening ,the headcity called for a citizen meeting in the main hall.
After everyone gathered in the Main hall, the headcity started to explain the situation.
The citizens started to fuss. "SILENCE!" Jack shouted. "We need an idea on how to defeat them."
"How about the Guardians statue?" shouted one of the ctizens.
"But we need Ice, Water ,Fire, Shadow and Earth elements. We don't have all any element user except for Earth," shouted another citizen.
"Who is an Earth elemental user here?" asked another citizen.
Suddenly from the farthest alley, someone raised his hand. "I am the earth elemental user." It was Jives that spoke.
"Okay then we will use the Guardians statue. For ice and fire Robert will do it ,as for Water, I'll do it." announce Jack
"Who is the shadow user? It is the rarest element of all and don't forget it is a cursed element!" shouted a citizen.
"I know someone with that kind of power," said Jack.
After some briefing, the meeting was dismissed.
"Wait, I just realized something, wasn't your element Poison?" said Ella to Jack.
"Yeah, I usually use Poison, but poison is the result of modification of Water. So, technically I am a Water element user." explained Jack.

"So here is the panel for us to transfer our power." Jives pointed at a 5 circular pattern with different colors and pictures of each element.
The Earth panel shows a Boulder with a Brown color.
The Ice Panel shows an iceberg with a icy color.
The fire panel shows a volcano with red color.
The water panel shows a big wave with Blue color.
And the Shadow color only a dark color in it.
"So we shoot the panel at the same time?" asked Robert.
"Yeah, get ready they already nearby," said Jives.
Just like Jives said, a group of Rogues marched to city,"We will hit it in 1...2...3," commanded Jives.
On a count of 3, they all shot the panel at the same time, Robert shot the panel with his elemental bullets, Jack stabbed the panel with his dagger but the poison in it had already been changed into water, Jives summoned a little boulder and threw it into the panel, and Ella summoned some shadows and slashed the panel with them. The guardians statue start moving and started advancing to the rogue.
"So...you are the shadow user," Jives said to Ella.
"Pretty much, let's go,"commanded Ella.
Everyone start advancing and helping the guardians. Ella started rampaging in the middle of their power, Robert started killing the martial Artist using his bullets, Jack kiledl many of rogues with his agility, and Jives summoning some rock shard and throw them at the elemental users.
It was an easy fight because of the guardians, and one of the rogues was captured for interrogation.
"Who was the one that ordered you to attack this town?" Jack threat him with his dagger.
"I will not say it, I have already been paid to keep it secret," said the rogue.
"So money is more valuable than your life?" asked Jack one more time, he started sliciing his neck a little bit.
"Okay, Okay I'll tell you, but get the dagger off my throat, it was.." before he could answer the question, an arrow drilled into his heart and he died instantly.
"Damn him, I think he doesn't want us to find him." Jack cursed.

Back at the town, everyone felt scared of Ella ,because they knew that Ella was a Shadow user, they about to exile her, but Jives defended her and brought Ella back to John's house.
"How pathetic, I just saved them and what do they take me for? An exile," Ella spat.
"Calm down girl, before your demon takes over," Robert tried to calm her down.
"I'm calm, anyway why do they hate Shadow users so much?" asked Ella to Jives.
"There was a legend. I don't know if it's true.In crystal forest there was a creature wearing a tuxedo but didn't have a face. I heard that he liked to kill people here and he could control shadow, but I am not sure," explained Jives.
"Shadow? Do you know where I can meet him?" asked Ella.
"Well then get ready because in 15 minutes, we will go to Crystal Forest" commanded Jives.

After a couple hours walking in the forest, Ella heard a sound like a wolf crying. Ella started running to the wolf.
Ella saw a little black wolf caught in a bear trap, "Oh poor wolf,where are your parents?" Ella opened the bear trap.
The wolf still seemed to be crying, "From my point of view, he already doesn't have parents," said Jack.
"How are you sure about that?" asked Ella. "I've seen many animal that don't have parents which look like this one." explained Jack.
"Well then, I'll adopt him. I'll call him Havoc." Ella tickled her new found friend's nose.The wolf starts giggling.
"Havoc? What a weird name for an animal," said Robert. "Oh shut up," commanded Ella.
Suddenly Havoc start sniffing the air,and started running.
"Havoc, where are you going?" Ella and her comrades start chasing him ,at the end of the road, they saw a man.A really really tall man but, with no face,playing with the wolf.
"Good boy, I was worried cause you didn't come home," said the man. The man had black skin.
"Are you the rumored guy from the town?" asked Ella.
"Ah Shella Wish, Robert McCarthy, Jack or known as "Poisonous Dirty-J", and our lovely Butler Jives. I think you already heard about my bad reputation. Let me to introduce myself. My name is Slenderman 2.0," said that guy.
"How do you know about us?" Robert was shocked.
"If you can dissolve into Shadow, you can know everything my son," answered Slender.
"Do you like to kill the citizens?" asked Jives.
"I only killed the one that needed to be punished," said Slender.
"Serves them right. I hate Rogues," said Jack.
"You must be forgotten, you are a rogue Jack." said Ella.
"But..but...I am a good rogue aren't I?" said Jack.
Everyone laughed hysterically.
"The rumored guy isn't bad like the rumor said," Jives said thoughtfully.
"Never trust a Rumor if you didn't see it in person,that's my principle all along,"said Jack.
"Anything I can help you with madam?" Slender asked Ella.
"I heard that you are a Shadow user. Is it true?" asked Ella.
"Yes, and I know that you are Shadow user too, but not from your birth element," said Slende.r
"Can you teach me how to control my Shadow?" asked Ella.
Before Slenderman could answer that, suddenly his composure changed, and Jives' phone rang.
"Ollo~," Jives answered the phone.
"JIVES GET OUT OF THERE!!!" shouted John from the other line as he shouted that, the sky rumbled.A big light come downward to them and made a huge explosive.

We would have been dead right now, if slender hadn't made a Shadow Cube for us.
"You must go now, if youl want to stay alive" said Slender in agony
"I can't hold this any longer, please take Little Ad Generiem with you."
