I highly doubt any other game used the stand system.
You would be stupid if you did, and toribash has grown into a thing where only the cheapest techniques win, or the majority of players who have some kind of skill, are all trash talking 13 year olds.

None of these moves look like something from street fighter, maybe a select few would have some similarities, but all of these moves are taken directly from the manga, which was a on-going manga from 1987 to 2004 (If you actually read anything)

But anyways, it probably will follow the entire manga series (Seeing as they have to add all the characters for it), so it'll be probably waaaaaaaaay longer then the Ps1 version's story.
Not to mention, any game gets boring after a while, Toribash gets boring when you see that the only "fun" aspect is maybe to parkour, or do replays, but it's gets mudane after a while.

Seeing all these "reviews" is kinda like the same people who said Kwonho was the same as Tekken. Just ignorance all around that don't know how the game actually plays.

I'm not interested in the game. This looks like every capcom game and i am sick of capcom not raising the bar and trying to do better. this is also coming from somebody who really likes fighting games. learn to handle an opinion instead of calling somebody ignorant for it. when you posted this you posted for feedback. this is feedback. learn to handle it.
about the manga: i dont read manga often, and i dont think they have those at my local library, i wouldnt have bothered to read them otherwise. like i said, the game looks boring, i would make a guess the manga isnt that great either.
you act like we knew all the history, or MUST HAVE KNOWN the history of this game. we dont all like what you like you know.

oh and i have played toribash almost nonstop since i joined, it still hasnt gotten old. still by far one of my favourite games.
