That game is fucking hardcore to "level up", some players like that, others don't. Most of the players from that new generation like that "easy shit" so they can be like "OH DAWG LOOK AT MY BELT, SUCK IT" but this is not something very easy to do in that game *only if u poop money and buy some QI*. And the game lost his objective because of that, people who takes more thank 10k games to go to another belt get tired and just sit on the forum, yes 10k games, ok think with me. Every game takes like 30 seconds? 30 and u need to win 10000 games, so 300000 seconds = 5000 min = 84 hours, ok so 84 hours to get around 10k games. But people today dont have that much time to spent on a game, some of them work, anothers go to school n shit.
So you wanna make this game more popular? well, all right:
1~ I don't think you need to make it easier, i like that extreme hardcore mode but 90% dont, so make it a lil' bit more easier.
2~ Spread the game, you can always see some youtubers, streamers even comercials about the games, so just contact a famous guy on youtube to make a video about this game, or you guys can promote like an event about the best youtube "toribash movie" and promote it on twitter/facebook/youtube/twitch, everywhere.
3~ Send e-mails. Yes e-mails, send an e-mail for an oldschool player, like if the player is inactive for 3 months a bot just send an e-mail (the e-mail linked to the account) to remember the player about it.
Like, on the beginning (2009) i used to play that game everyday, but it gets harder and harder and i had no time to deal with it, so i kinda stopped playin' since its fucking impossible to reach my goals without givin' away my life. The game gonna be alive forever. Since theres some rich bitches that pay for ToriPrime and V.I.P AND buy QI because they can't reach their goal (By the way this is why they never gonna make the game easier, so than people can buy QI).
This is my PoV.
This is actually stupid. Call me a rich bitch all you want, but I only make $2500/month and after paying for bills, insurance, and car payments, I only got like $100-$200 to spend on my own FOR A WHOLE MONTH. Not everyone is rich just because they spent a measly $10 or $17 for TB Prime or TB PRime/VIP. Also, reach their goal? I am sorry to say, but I been a legit 10th dan 2 times in a row, and a master belt with 112 games till custom. I would be a legit 7th dan right now if I didn't buy Qi.
Also, this game is not about belt, belt doesn't mean shit but how many games you played on that account. I know a legit 10th dan who fights like a yellow belt still. Rank doesn't matter either, it's just your elo rating.
Now, as for advertising.. That is stupid, we got enough youtube videos on youtube to advertise. This game could not possibly handle millions of players online at a time. The forums probably could(would be slow as fuck though) but the game itself would not be able to host over 500 rooms, and hold about 500,000-1,000,000 people.
