^^ That same thing happened to me during the Massive Monkey comp. I would finally finish a 5000 frame replay (working with 2 frames per turn) I would save it, but when I tried to open it later on Tori and Uke just fell over From what I can guess It was just because I edited the replays SO much and they each had about 2500 turns. Your situation sounds a bit different, but I know how frustrating that is.
