I thought it was time to re-suggest it ;p (a bit differently, I don't know how triggers work)

But not for joints only, it needs to be appliable on every bodyparts ! I do like how you've put it snake.

There's something I don't understand : would the trigger take into account the speed/strenght of the hit like dm and frac triggers do, or would it be triggered by the amount of points ?
I think it would be better to keep a "high points system", I think people like it : it's more epic, and it allows slight differences. Like if a fight end closely, with low point system (1/2/3/5etc...) draws would be more current, whereas high point system would still allow a little tap to the leg scoring a few hundred points to decide the winner.

Exemple : the 2 fighters both land 1 solid hit to the other's head, but one land a weak hit to the knee (lower than the trigger)
Trigger system : they would both end up with 10 points for that head it, draw.
% modificator : they would both score, lets say 20k for the head hit, but the knee hit gives 300 points, we have a winner.

Exemple 2 : the 2 fighters sux, they just miss and rub each others arms, legs & chest, and every hits are under the set trigger.
Trigger system : 0 points, draw
% modificator : one would have something like 600 points, the other 400, we have a winner.

And we'd need to still take into account fracs & dms, with the points % modification idea, if a knee have 0% modificator but get dm'd, the hit itself would score 0 point, but the player would still get 5k for the dm, but I don't see what would happen with the point system you proposed.

I'm no dev so I don't know which idea would be the easiest to implement, but both Idea aim at the same thing : more precision, less randomness, more logic (for "competitive mods", I don't see people bothering doing it for jousting, lolnade & such)

SkulFuk we need some dev's help to brainstorm in the right direction ;p

no need to overcomplicate something for the sake of people who may fail. with this logic you can say that wushu distance should be closer to make sure people will actually touch each other. the simplier - the better.
