guys help pls I have a little thing I want to ask you guys

If you're going to put it on as an avatar, does it have to be the full thing or it can be cropped? because my submission is quite big and it isn't really one thing, but multiple stuff mashed up into one, and it'd be neat if it was just a little cropped piece of terribleness, if not pls tell me so I can make a new submission
