A spark of orange and gold.
The feather blows 'cross the night,
though it's lonely dark and cold.
Yet in such plight, its perfect light,
hints of great stories of old.
Stories of when comrades fight,
and their loyalty is sold.
Yet from this blight, they set things right,
promises payed thousand fold.
In this ancient feather's flight,
to find those it would once scold.
Such stories of reunion,
shall forever be retold.
While flame destroys it might seem bright,
but it never shines so bold,
than when its members reunite,
and pass the flame to their sons.
