What you might have interpreted as racism on public wushu, might have been nasty trolling. We all know wushuers are a superior breed with high IQ, we can't be racist.
The part about fearing and hating different people being the result from low cognitive capabilities makes sense, but that's not the only reason. I've seen many stupid people who weren't racist or homophobic, education and social environment matters a lot.
