Ludum dare is a rapid game development competition.
You have to make a game in 48h yourself, including coding, art, music.
The theme of the competition is voted on by the users. After that you brainstorm an idea and start hacking.
The competition is not related to Toribash.
It is a fun way to spend a weekend and learn coding/art.
