that said, mastering someone else's tricks does not make them a top-tier player.

i dont really see a way for the tier system to be objective. imo the development of new techniques for effective and stylish play is almost exclusively what makes a tier 1 player.

anyway, re: showing you how i do this move-
it probably wouldn't be very fun for you so i'll just explain it. unfortunately, 9 times out of 10, the most effective way to get into this position is to start with a straight lift/kicklift. as your opponent pulls themselves in to counter, you pull yourself in and get one leg behind them. this leg is used to sweep their legs before they can get their feet on the ground.

i dont have any replays of it atm but possessed's replay in the OP is a decent example. huge kicklift followed by powerful but imperfect slam

can be done in sw in this case. we need to get on server and experimenta bit
