In every single scene i used, the tori is flying in the actual game, not once did i use just a plane standing tori. For the parts where the tori is hovering, i put him in the air, and changed gravity to 0, so he's suspended in a 0 gravity environment.

See the problem is that people -view- that your tori is standing still even though as you said he isn't. It doesn't matter how you do it, if it ends up looking the same, to the viewer, it is the same.

and even if i did use a standing tori for it all, what would that matter? Because it still gives the appearance of flying. Like in actual movies, where heroes fly, their just suspended by a string and air is blown at them and as d3noth u said..

That is a good point - However you can really improve on how you work everything out. As Sly said everything looks really cheesy and there isn't a very effecient way of motion tracking in toribash yet

But let me ask you something, if you know a magicians tricks does that still make the trick any less impressive?.

Yes, actually, it does make it less impressive. I understand what you're trying to say but that's a bad analogy.

Anyways, on to actual cnc

The first bit was eh, the tori launched up way too slowly

0:05 looked actually decent

0:06 Not so much, would have been better if you moved the background a bit less for a bigger parallax effect

0:11 What were you even doing, that linear kind of panning + weird black and white to colour thing made no sense

At 0:16 you can try to move the tori in the game instead of just taking a picture of it, cutting it out then animating it. It'll look far more realistic (You can also give the tori an initial thrust downwards and set the gravity to something positive which gives you the slowing down effect you're looking for)

As you said the last part wasn't very realistic

What I suggest is to cut down on the "third person" kind of camera view and try more of the angles where the camera is stationary but panning to follow the Tori as he goes past, then add a crapton of motion blur. I think that'll look better
