i can see the menu button becoming a thing but i dont think the spacebar replacement will ever happen because it's ugly as hell

frankly, the "press spacebar to play", "hit space when ready with move" etc. messages should be toggleable tutorial text because they are also ugly as hell

also, this is a self-described minimalist game and neither your suggested buttons nor the existing text are particularly minimalist

i want it all gone
