What exactly do you mean by that? Mods are automatically downloaded now if they're missing from your mod folder when you go to MP.

Regarding 3D objects, IFs cover that sphere pretty well. If you're good at modelling you can always suggest some items or even apply to IF. We will probably implement Steam Workshop integration some time in the future, but there are no estimates as for now.
