Cancers start off as being your cells. That is literally all a cancer is; tumours happen when cells start reproducing out of control rather than following the pattern it should. This is a bit of a simplification of course but cancer is a defect of your own cells.

More of a rogue cannibal. It starts off normal then all of a sudden just snaps and eats and disguises as a cell.
As much as it pains me to say it... it's impressive that an accidentally-created cell has been capable of infiltrating our body and taking it apart from the inside, in short it's the badass of cells. especially since it's an accident that it's created. like damn.
Condolences to anyone with relatives with cancer, though.
