A black hole the mass of the sun in the same place as the sun wouldn't suck earth in to it.

If our sun was slowly burning out and turning in to a dwarf I'd rather be killed by a black hole it has the chance to create rather than the freezing temperatures it would create long before it got to the size of a dwarf.
