Hi, I'm NitrateDash. Currently Green Belt working my way towards Black Belt. Of course, a normal green belt wouldn't be applying to a clan with this caliber without some form of experience. Well now, this is going to be a long story so pull up a chair by the hearth and listen to my story.
I've been in the forums since 2011 using the user DarkeVipr. I used to go solo on games, grinding TC and just play because I just want to kick some asses. Of course, I wasn't too good on ass kicking at the time. During the time I was a brown belt, I went to a public server. People from a clan called Guardians was playing on that server. I got friendly with them and eventually I joined the clan. It was the first time I felt like I was with family in the four corners of my computer screen. I was with them from our humble beginnings to becoming official. After a while, some shitstorm happened inside the clan. Leaders becoming inactive and all hell broke loose. After some democracy, I became Co-Leader of the clan. Maintaining it wasn't easy, but being around with what you call a virtual family has it moments.
After a while, I became inactive. College was starting and I started to become inactive. I don't want to bring the clan down with me, so I withheld my position as clan leader. I told them I will be inactive for a long time, and with my Co-Leader position, I gave up my spot on the clan. And it was all a blank from there on out.
For about a year and a half, I was out of contact from Toribash. Until I felt like something was missing. I missed my friends. I tried using my account again, but I may have forgotten its password. Also its email credentials too. So that's why I made this account, to start anew. Guardians has died.
On this account, I joined Metagame. It was already developing when I joined. Which I will admit was my mistake. I was so desperate in rebuilding myself that I did not consider to join a clan in its early stages. At the time, I was eager to be comfortable with the members. Although, some irl problems came up like everyone is panicking in my family that we had to move. Internet didn't come up for like months until just recently. In which case, second mistake. I didn't inform the clan that I'll be inactive. Metagame has now died too, just recently.
Now that my story is out of the way, let's talk about meeeeeeee. I know no one of this clan. Which is okay, I would like to know you guys a bit more on the forums and in-game. Both of which I can say that I've been recently active on. Most likely, I'll be more forum than in-game. More importantly, I treat clans as family. In other words, I take it very seriously. I think, if given the opportunity, I'm gonna fit in just fine here. I play a lot of other games too. Hearthstone, CSGO, GMOD and a lot more others. I do some pretty cool shit like art. I'm not that godly, but I know my ways around. I can do some art like banners and headers for the clan. And yeah, I may have been AWOL for a few months, but I still have my skills as a player. I usually do best in Judo or any Aikido mod, and I've been raring to learn how to Wushu. If anyone in le has godlike powers in wushu, I'm here to learn
I'm more multiplayer kind of guy than making single player replays or spars. As such, my fighting style is a relax all then counter what move the opponent does. I can post replays and/or meet any of you in-game. My timezone is GMT+8, hope there won't me much interference in terms of play time.
Oh right, you wouldn't believe my art prowess if I didn't post examples eh? (Oh wait, the "eh" is for Canadians. Canadians speak French, right? Close enough)
I can post replays if requested, not much of a stellar performance. Just some of my favorite wins on multiplayer. I didn't post some replays just cause it just makes my post look ridiculous with the attachments.
If there's anything else I forgot to include and/or would like to know about more, please by all means do tell~
Thank you for reading this incredibly long post and hope to see you ingame
I'm actually quite impressed with this application.
The only thing that worried me was his belt, but I went and played ingame with him for a while and he's pretty good.
I'm going to say
yes, afterall, you did say you were more of a forum person.
Best of luck!
