Saw City of God and Elite Squad a few days ago. They're must-see Brazillian movies, both are incredible. Both talk about corruption, gangs, and much deeper topics.
I watched both City of God and Elite Squad 1, I have to watch the second and third features though. By the way, I didn't know these movies were so known outside Brazil. I recommend you to watch " The Law of The Weakest ", thats a good brazilian movie too.
