Yeah I feel like having a less serious thread is important if we want to appear welcoming to the community (which only seems fair when they have been so welcoming to us as new guys on the block) but not clog our pre-existing and genuinely useful communication channels with shit-posters. I think we should have this thread for talking about clan stuff and asking permission to change things (e.g. asking if we should sticky something or requesting one of the members who mods the board to do it), another thread for super serious discussions which would resemble the TDC org discussions a little maybe and then another "chat thread" for casual invaders.
I know it might get clogged but remember that pretty soon we can unsticky the grovel thread when we run out of people to grovel at us.
On another note what sorts of threads are you ok with us making in the board? Will there be any rules about thread making?
Our current DSC thread can be the chat thread with the invades (
note: Allies, feel free to post in whichever threads you want to). We can open a "Get a mod to do shit" / "Suggestions" thread, like you said, as well. That leaves the "srs" thread as the place for more hardcore stuff.
On thread-making, just exercise common sense, really. You can make whatever you want so long as it conforms with the general forum rules and it isn't spammy.
