Wow qukslice, add a spoiler please. Literally the worst thing you could have said on this topic lol. I'm already done it, so it doesn't't matter to me, but other people...
I liked it, I thought Tatsumi's death was fitting, and I expected it to begin with. I think that the reason I didn't't find it that sad was because the anime is only 24 episodes, and doesn't really give you much time to get to know the characters before they die. When they do die, a single backstory episode didn't make me feel attached enough to them for tears lol. Also, I had basically written everybody off from the start. As soon as Sheele died, I wrote everybody off as expendable. I knew they'd die, so I always expected it to happen. Then, there wasn't much opportunity to be sad. Surely, some people's deaths were overkill, and the characters really didn't need to die, but that didn't really phase me. Of course, there were some moments where I felt my mouth drop open because I didn't expect how a person might die, but the end result was the same. Heck, as soon as Leone appeared I knew she'd die, just not by getting shot 15 times in the stomach lol. Though, I was a little surprised that Akame survived. I expected her to die in place of Tatsumi.
Also, General Najenda was boring af lol. She doesn't even fight! She just gets Sussano to do it for her. I figured her eyepatch must be hiding her imperial arms, but noooo, she just gets somebody else to fight for her, and occasionally launches her arm. I was expecting at least ONE epic fight seen from a former commander of the imperial army, but she didn't fight on her own at all. That was one of the more disappointing parts IMO XD
8 episodes into Your Lie in April. I really like it so far. It's my first non-action based anime. As a pianist for like, 12 years, and with a sister who plays violin, it's really interesting.
