Well yeah, you ask "is there a parasite growing in your face?" If they say no, they're probably okay, if their face opens up and a floaty eye comes out, I'd say yes.
Also, yes, I shipped Kana and Shinichi fucking hard.
Btw, I watched an anime movie called "King of Thorn". It was great. Confusing as fuck, but hey, it was great.
