a^2 + b^2 = c^2 isnt hard to memorize, if you think it is then you probably won't need to use it anyway. mainly because you wont be able to get a job that requires your brain to function properly
That wasn't what I wasn't insisting on. I'm saying if you know you don't want that field, why be forced to learn it? And yes, I am becoming a science teacher. But those equations I named are useless when it comes into becoming a science teacher for a middle school (what I am aiming for). I won't become an astronomer myself, so I don't exactly need trigonometry. Which isn't a problem personally since I have already learned it. So no worrying for me with that said "issue" if it comes up. So please, don't be ignorant.
And of course engineers need that. Its just not full on common job.
