By the way, super-intelligent AI isn't the only way robots might be able to destroy humanity. There's a cool hypothetical scenario named Grey Goo, in which self-replicating nano-robots disassemble everything they come in contact with and make more of themselves, until they consume everything on Earth. If they are for destroy they will consume earth.
If they are for help the humans against cancer or AIDS, I think the opposite.
For example:
Nano-Robots will have a reproduction system wich the nano-robots they create, they never will reproduce again.
and the Reproduction Robots will have a limit of creating nano-robots.
