if you want to get educational about it think of it as supply and demand.
as the supply (spots left we are willing to fill) goes down the price (our standards) will raise.
after saying that i am willing to tell you that i unfairly judged your application and i do like it, i actually have no clue why i was so hard on it to begin with. I would like to put you in as a trainee for now and wait to see how your activity goes. btw you show the commitment i was looking for just by arguing and giving good points supported by logic.
