OUOUOUOUOU. People that say OU is secluded to a few pokemon are on partially right. Lots of UU and even a small few RU mons preform very well as counters. Though the viability is a bit secluded, I've never gone against a team in higher elos with more than 3 of the same common pokemon. OU is "easy" at first because it's what everybody first plays besides Ubers and AG. So at lower rank it's pretty easy if you want what you're doing.

Also, Ferrothorn is generally a Support/Wall but don't doubt it's Stalling Potential in the rain. Eliminates his fire weakness, and leech seed protect chips most foes easily. Power Whip does a ton of damage and to neutral and supereffective foes, Gyro ball chunks. Ferrothorn has a lot of roles it can play if you can find Synergy.
