Robots are only capable of carrying out instructions coded into the robot, so unless we were to create some very, very sophisticated AI, a superhuman robot capable of overwhelming humanity's joint efforts to destroy said robot AND be stupid enough to do the previous two things mentioned, I severely doubt that robots could destroy humanity.

War robots would be made, then big powerful countries would attack each other, then maybe destroy a big mass.
