The officer cap was one of the first items, since then a lot of changes happened to how textures work and newer items take advantage of it. It's 50/50 on if an item will cause an issue if you have problems with them, entirely depends on how it was made.
I see, but I wouldn't understand it though, from demon wings, wizard hat, special staff items, longfall boots, I don't really crash from them, just the jack head. But for now I'll just entirely stay away from it or 3d objects in general. Closing thread since it had been answered as much as possible.
