Its pretty much the same on the forums that it would be in game when it comes to changing settings for normal users. However, the only way to be able to edit a server from the forum WITHOUT BEING STAFF THAT HAVE INGAME ADMIN you need to be logged in to both, forum and in game, be a registered user, be the owner of the server you are trying to edit (if your not then the option to edit it wont even show up for you), or possibly be a op (This could cause problems so it is understandably debatable).
